Interactive auction practice

Practise bridge bidding with complete auctions

The RVLbridge Bidding Trainer generates themed hands and asks you to make the next call. Explanations clarify the recommended action and the auction continues where the module requires it.

Open Bidding Trainer

Nine focused bidding modules

Opening Calls

Choose the first call from balanced, unbalanced and pre-emptive hands.

Balanced Hand Auctions

Practise 1NT auctions, Stayman, Jacoby transfers and opener's continuation.

Major-Suit Auctions

Work on simple, invitational and game-going raises after a major opening.

Minor-Suit Auctions

Search for major fits or suitable notrump contracts after a minor opening.

Strong 2♣ Auctions

Develop forcing auctions with balanced and suit-oriented strong hands.

Two-over-One Rebids

Practise opener's mandatory first rebid after an uncontested two-over-one response.

Natural Overcalls

Compete over one-level suit and 1NT openings, including balancing-seat decisions.

Defence against Weak Twos

Recognise when strength and suit quality support a natural overcall.

Weak Jump Overcalls

Use a sound long suit and limited strength to pre-empt the opponents.

Generated practice rather than a short fixed quiz

Hands are generated within each module's teaching constraints, so practice is not limited to one small repeating set. Progress is recorded per module for registered users and can be reset for a fresh attempt.

Choose Standard American / SAYC or Basic Acol under Account before training.
